Measuring Democratic Accountability: An Initial Report on an Emerging Dataset.

In this paper, we introduce the dataset created as part of the Democratic Linkages and Accountability Project.

Dissertation

My dissertation consists of two parts. In the first, it explores how the proportionality of the electoral formula employed to translate votes into political influence interacts with the level of ethno-cultural polarization of a particular country to determine the quality of the electoral process and the  likelihood of a government turnover.
